A Typical Consultation
The safe and effective application of Remedial Massage Therapy is a collaborative effort between the therapist and client. In order to understand more about your condition and needs, I must discuss with you your injury and medical history, as well as assess your musculo-skeletal system to get a "snap shot" of your body's posture and potential movenemt restrictions. Therefore, each Remedial Massage Consultation will consist of:
- A brief, yet thorough (& confidential) discussion of your injury & medical history
- Postural & mobility assessment
- Remedial Massage Therapy
- Brief, post-massage assessment & discussion of further Remedial Massage Therapy or referral to another Health Care Provider, if required.
- Demonstration of any relevant exercises ("homework")

HICAPS & Health Fund Rebates
I am a listed Remedial Massage Provider with most Private Health Funds. My clinic is set up with HICAPS, which provides on-the-spot Health Fund rebate claims at the time of payment. Simply present your Private Health Fund card** and the HICAPS terminal will credit your account immediately with your rebate, provided you have the appropriate level of cover. All you owe is the Gap.
A note on HCF: Because HCF does not participate in HICAPS claiming system for Remedial Massage, a receipt will be issued to you so that you may claim your rebate directly from HCF. For a list of all Health Funds that participate in the HICAPS system for Remedial Massage, please click here.
** Your Health Fund card must be presented at the time of payment; simply providing your Health Fund account number is not sufficient, as the card must be swiped through the terminal to process your claim. The amount of rebate varies per Health Fund, and also depends on your level of cover within that Fund. Refer to your Health Fund for more details. You must be covered for Remedial Massage in order to claim a rebate for my services.

Cancellation & Reschedules Policy
- Please note that whilst I try to be flexible, under most circumstances a minimum of **4 HOURS NOTICE** on all cancellations & reschedules is required. If changes to your booking - including cancelling the booking or rescheduling the booking - are made within 4 hours of the appointed time, an additional fee may be incurred, equal to 50% of the Consultation Fee.
- NO SHOWS will be billed a NO SHOW FEE equal to 100% of the Consultation Fee.
